Yep, Mel and her mysterious admirer. Gee. I wonder who that is?
I didn't quite get down the image I have of Vidanric on paper, but I rarely ever get the images down right and they rarely ever resemble what I think they would look like. o_O I'm also shakey when it comes down to drawing profiles.
No, really, this is gorgeous. They look so right! I love how Danric's hair is falling over his face, and his smile, and Mel's bright-eyed, eager look. Well done indeed! Do draw more if you find the time!
Lol, I was actually very fussy over his hair. I couldn't really get it the way I wanted it to be so I toyed around with the head for a while. What I was trying to avoid was giving him the "Legolas-look" by leaving his hair down...
That and I tend to think of Flauvic as the one who usually has his hair down and Danric with his hair tied back (even though Sherwood mentions that he has his hair down multiple times I think). Thanks for the comment.

Very nice! Not that I haven't seen it... But it looks nice with the background and words now! Very nifteh.
I'm going to steal that book and read it when you're not here.. since you practically never do fanart you must really love this book to do fanart of it.. and since you love it so much it must be good... right? Lol.

Life is like Tetris... you aren't always given the pieces that fit nicely, but if you don't make do with what you get the screen fills up and you get a game over.. or something like that.
It's definitely a good book, but whether you like it or not is up to your own opinion. ^^ You may borrow it whenever you wish.
You actually got me thinking that this may be the only fanart I've ever actually done...
Holy cow...this IS the only kind of fanart I've done!

Well, Danric strikes me as the sort who gets very wrapped up in his writing; it looks to me as if his hair has been slowly working its way from the ribbon with all of his pen-flourishing.
Gah. Now I want to go read the book again. I suppose that's a good thing, though.
I think you did a wonderful job on this and I love the kind of old-time feel this has, being on the paper background. I think you did an incredible job on the profile. They both look awesome and it's such a neat idea!

I love that parchment-y background. The way you put the pieces of their letters into it looks just fabulous.
I love Mel! She looks quite excited about her letter.... I love that whole sequence in Crown Duel. Of course, you know who's writing the letters to her, and that only makes it more exciting....
SQUEE about Vidanric. He makes me go all gooey....
Again, I LOVE the book. and Danric is my favorite character. (( Savona is a close second!)) and this is just... seriously, when i found it earlier today during a boring physics lecture I had to squelch my girly shriek of ecstasy. and stop myself from dancing around the room in joy.
I did however, quickly send it to my dearest friend and twin three rows away. She's in the middle of the book right now, so I only sent her the picture without the rest of it cause I didn't want to spoil it, even though she's already guessed. She DID get up and do a spastic little happy dance. After closing out of the document so no one knew the reason why.
Anyways, i think the point was, nice work. Do another again sometime!!
